I haven't found a good way in Zenoss to tell if someone is logged on,
much less who that someone is. Maybe a better programmer will offer an
example.
As to SNMP Agent down - does the windows computer have SNMP installed?
Did you install SNMP Informant? Did you configure SNMP on the windows
computer to use the community string you use in Zenoss and to allow SNMP
from the Zenoss server IP?

I downloaded and installed Zenoss Core for VMWare Player. My main goal for downloading at this point is basically to monitor what XP machines on our network are on and who is logged into them.
1.) Under Device List I can find all the computers that it found from the IP range I gave it. However, I have to actually click on the device in the list to see if it says "Status Up" and a green light indicating the machine is on. Is there anyway to get a list view of the machines that are actually powered on?
2.) Also, this may be another question at another time but my devices only bring back the PC name and no other information such as who's logged on, hardware or OS info. They all say SNMP Agent down. Not sure what is going on here but is this the reason why I am getting no info back besides the name of the PC?
Any help would be great!
thanks!
